Sorry for my blogger absence, but there really hasn’t been much going on this last week. I mean, the most exciting thing that’s happened was when I discovered “toasted cream cheese bagel” and Chai Latte at Starbucks… But, after seeing all I’ve wanted to see here, and done most of the things I wanted to do, it’s kinda nice to chill out and do nothing after school. And today, my room mate (who has become increasingly scary and hostile) went on a one week-long trip back to Japan to see her family, which means I have the room for myself the next few days! Yey, finally a temporary escape from evil eyes, paranoia, tip-toing around and being waken up at six in the morning :D
This week is going to be awesome!!

Shopping shopping shopping!
Today I went all out and played ninja with my credit card at the Ala Moana shopping center, not thinking twice if I could afford it all… I’m surpised at how much money one can spend in just four hours, but that’s what happens when you figure that you should treat yourself to those gorgeus Ralph Lauren sunglasse and the whole facial set from Estee Lauder, just because you can. And as I walked past a cheap, asian nail salon, I even decided to have my first pedicure, which felt oh so lovely after two months of flip-flopping around volcanoes and mountains. I allso bought a dress, some makeup, hair stuff, a necklace, a book and a body wash with the smell of red velvet cake :D
Feels so good to be a girl sometimes!
Today I finally got to go Honolulu Zoo. The park is just ten minutes from here so it was about time I went! It was surprisingly good, considering it’s rather small, and historically a bird park. At least they had tigers and monkeys, and the birds were actually supercool. But now, I love the zoo, so it’s not really hard to please me on that area, just show me a random animal and I’ll be exctatic! Unfortunately they didn’t have a single panda…
But still great fun :p
I just finished watching the first season of the vampire-series “True Blood”, and man, do I love that show. This is a promo for the next season, that airs June 14th. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Guess I gotta go buy me the books while I’m waiting..
And for those of you who have no clue as to what I’m talking about, I suggest you find season 1 on DVD and get ready for some long, thrilling nights..
